Spain inaugurates a very challenging hat-trick at the Fanta F1 which also includes the Austrian and British Grands Prix. The teams arrived at Barcelona with the aim of finding as many answers as possible on the Catalan track after three free practice sessions they therefore challenged each other in qualifying which saw Lando Norris prevail over Max Verstappen by just 20 thousandths. This is the second Pole Position (not counting the Sprints) in Norris' career after the 2021 Russian GP. Although qualifying does not bring points in the real championship, at Fanta F1 the difference between a Pole and a second place can really make the difference : let's see fifths i scores after qualifying for the Spanish GP.
Lando Norris takes Pole NOW at Fanta F1: +5 for him
A battle of blows, this is how one could describe the last attempt to Lando Norris e Max Verstappen in qualifying for the Spanish GP. In the end, the Englishman will come out on top by just 20 thousandths. 20 thousandths which separates him from the rest of the group allowing him to gain 5 points at Fanta F1. For the third Grand Prix in a row Max Verstappen will therefore have to settle for starting further back than the Poleman. In the second row we find another surprise, namely both Mercedes. In fact, the low temperatures seem to have returned a different scenario compared to this morning's free practice. Hamilton e Russell having arrived in Q3 they earn the same as Max 3 points to Fanta F1. 3 points also coming for Leclerc e Sainz, perhaps disappointed by the fifth and sixth positions. Those who can say they are satisfied, however, are Alpine who managed to get both cars into Q3. Both Gasly and Ocon leave qualifying in Spain with 3 points at Fanta F1. Not the result hoped for Oscar piastri. With his teammate on pole he is unable to go beyond tenth position.

To conquer 1 point at Fanta F1 in qualifying for the Spanish GP are instead Fernando Alonso, at his 21st home Grand Prix, Valtteri Bottas, Nico Hulkenberg, Lance Stroll and Zhou Guanyu. At the end of the standings and with 0 points at Fanta F1 we find the two Racing Bulls of Yuki tsunoda e Daniel Ricciardo preceded by the Haas of Kevin Magnussen. A bad result for the Faenza team who brought important updates here in Spain. Bad day also for the two Williams destined to close the ranking. Among these drivers we also find Sergio Perez. Despite having arrived in Q3, the Mexican will have to serve one penalty by 3 positions on the grid. This resets his bonus.
