All ready in Miami for the fifth round of the season, the first of the three to be held in America. We arrive in Miami with a ranking that sees both Red Bulls in the lead. TO Baku with the Sprint Sergio Perez has collected many points thanks to the two victories that brought him to -6 from Max Verstappen. The Azeri event was also a positive event for the Classic Ferrari for sale, doubly on the podium, in the Sprint and in the Sunday race with Charles Leclerc. Baku marks a renaissance for the Reds who brought the top riders to Miami updates of a package that will also be distributed in the next races, in particular at Imola and Barcelona. The new fund seems to have brought more load to Ferrari, which however finds an enemy in the high temperatures. Who can benefit from these conditions is precisely the direct challenger of the Red, or Aston Martin. But beware of the rain that could call everything into question. Let's see, after the first day of free practice, what are our choices at Fanta F1 in view of the Miami Grand Prix.
Red Bull flies, Ferrari with two faces
Once again there seems to be no match with the Red Bulls, especially in view of the race. In the race pace simulations, the Austrian team stood out from the rest of the group. The RB19 continues to test the updates introduced in Baku, and this has put Perez in a bit of difficulty, who has repeatedly found himself having to manage an unmanageable single-seater when taken to the extreme. However, there will be another free practice session to find the right balance and bring Max closer.

Ferrari has brought a new fund, and above all in anticipation of the next races, the experiment seems to have borne the desired results. The SF-23 still struggles in the fast corners and straights, but nevertheless manages to be more performing in the slowest stretch, in traction. The problem for the red team remains tire wear. The gap with Red Bull in the race pace simulations was around 1 second. However, Ferrari not only lost against Red Bull, but also against Aston and Mercedes, struggling to keep the tires in the right temperature window. The Mercedes performs well in medium to high speed corners and could stand out.
From a Fanta F1 perspective, we would therefore feel comfortable recommending Aston Martin over Ferrari. And as captain, Max Verstappen who wants and must make up for the difficult weekend in Baku. Who has to do it again is also the Alpine. McLaren, on the other hand, continues to improve. The first updates have also arrived for the Woking team in Baku. They could be the surprise of the weekend. Instead, we don't feel like betting on the Haas duo who, despite the excellent simulation in qualifying, are struggling to govern the single-seater. In view of the competition, they are too high a DNF risk. Seeing them both against the wall must have been particularly stressful for Steiner.
Our choices
Here is the team we have chosen to field with a base of 100 credits.
