This weekend, in Mexico, the heart of an American hat-trick that will end with the Brazilian Grand Prix, the challenge becomes even more intense. Although there is still a free practice session missing to do the final checks and choose the ideal set-up with qualifying on the horizon, it is crucial to start choosing the 5 drivers in order to obtain the maximum score at Fanta F1. With Red Bull keeping their rivals at bay and McLaren, Mercedes and Ferrari lurking, selecting the right drivers will be key to emerging victorious in the glamorous setting of Mexico City. So let's see the advice on who to line up at Fanta F1 for the nineteenth stage of the championship, for the Mexican GP.
Red Bull started the weekend taking the lead with Max Verstappen in the first two free practice sessions. This time, however, with a smaller gap compared to previous Grands Prix. Red Bull took a risk in Austin by riding higher. This forced Max to push like never before to keep the advantage over his rivals, while also taking risks.
Advice on who to deploy at Fanta F1 for the Mexican GP
Red Bull also started the weekend in Mexico with some problems in setting up the RB19. However, even if it doesn't seem as dominant as in the past, Verstappen managed to keep his rivals at bay, showing the superiority of his car. On the other hand, McLaren showed a good start to the weekend, with Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc's Ferrari finishing behind Verstappen in free practice. However, Ferrari had some set-up problems, with the car tending to lose grip in some corners, limiting performance especially in the third sector of the circuit.
Meanwhile, Mercedes has experimented a lot trying to adapt to track conditions. Lewis Hamilton made some significant changes to his car during the FP1 e FP2, trying to achieve greater precision in the high-speed 'snake'. Despite some adaptation problems, Mercedes seems to have a good race pace, with a solid pace in the long runs.
Overall, Red Bull has maintained its lead, but McLaren and Ferrari are closing in, with Mercedes trying to find the right set-up to be competitive. The fight for pole position and victory at the Mexican Grand Prix therefore promises to be very exciting, with each team trying to optimize the performance of their cars for the race.
Two teams, to take a guess
In the middle of the group, the AlphaTauri and Alexander Albon also showed good pace. Yuki he will start from the back on Sunday, and this could bring a lot of points from a Fanta F1 perspective. Considering what we have seen, let's try to create the team at Fanta F1. This time we offer two trainings, again for 100 credits. One with Max as captain (usually more profitable) – and a mixed one, taking advantage of the good form shown by Perez who hopes to aim for victory or at least the podium in his home race. There is no shortage of gambles in these formations. In particular, this time we choose to focus on Estaban Ocon, after the DNF in Austin. The Alpine can do well, but the only doubt remains that of the reliability of the Power Unit. Since we cannot focus on a Verstappen - Norris pairing due to budgetary reasons, we field the other McLaren standard-bearer, Piastri, hoping for a different epilogue than last weekend.
Verstappen, Piastri, Ocon, Tsunoda, Albon
The alternative team is made up of Hamilton, Perez, Bottas, Albon, Tsunoda.
