Fanta F1 enters the Silverstone GP week. A historic circuit with a breathtaking layout. In short, one of those tracks where the show is guaranteed and, above all, the most experienced and talented drivers can clearly make the difference. Let's see who among the 20 drivers on the grid would be better not to field for this British weekend.
Who to avoid at the back of the grid at Fanta F1 for the Silverstone GP?
A famous Neapolitan saying goes like this: Saving is never gain. A popular lesson that can be useful to us at Fanta F1 for the Silverstone GP. The secret to going fast with your team is knowing how to manage the budget made available equally across all five slots. You can play with two top strikersa band, sure. But that will mean relying on poorer-performing drivers for the other three spots. Thinking in a balanced way it could instead also protect us from possible disasters by the big ones: see Verstappen's retirement in Austria. For this reason it is also important to understand who to avoid and who to choose among the lower ranked drivers.
That said, for the Silverstone GP it is better to avoid Fanta F1 Lance stroll. As mentioned in the introduction, the English circuit, like Suzuka, Imola or Spa, is a place where great drivers can clearly make the difference. Stroll could therefore suffer his fitter and more talented colleagues, such as the other Aston Martin driver: the ever “green” Fernando Alonso. Furthermore, the Canadian comes from a trail of terrible results, despite having a car that, at least on paper, should allow him to finish in the top ten. What does all this mean? That the number 18 cannot even be used to collect the 10 points that the last one earns in Fanta F1.
Another driver in constant difficulty is Franco Colapinto. Like the Canadian, he too is almost a regular guest on this nefarious column. Still zero points won, never a Q3 entry on Saturday and almost always to his teammate. Furthermore, the Argentine, like his predecessor Doohan, lives with the constant pressure of the countless market rumours. The last one is the one that would like Bottas in his place already from the next races. Finally, let's take into account the price of Colapinto at Fanta F1: 8 credits, making him the cheapest driver on the grid. However, with just one more credit, you can take home both Lawson and Bortoleto.
Two riders to avoid in the middle of the pack

After having carefully chosen which driver to focus on at the back of the grid, you will have to navigate the middle group, that is, the group of drivers who, at every Grand Prix, fight assiduously to get into the top ten. Here, things get even more complicated, because the current cars have reached such a high level of sensitivity that even a very slight change to the set-up can make the teams lose or gain precious hundredths. A variable that is even more visible among the teams in the middle of the group.
It is therefore difficult to predict who could or could not bring important points to the fantasy managers. In the meantime, for the Silverstone GP, it might be useful for Fanta F1 not to bet on Olivier Bearman. The young English driver will race his home GP for the first time in the Formula 1 championship. The rookie could suffer the climate, the expectations and the extra commitments, as often happens to many drivers. An example? Good Kimi Antonelli in Imola. Furthermore, his teammate, Stephen Ocon, remains a tough nut to crack and, on a track like Silverstone, the Frenchman could make the difference to Bearman's detriment.
The other driver to avoid in the middle of the grid remains, unfortunately Yuki tsunoda. In Austria it was a real hell on earth for him: disastrous qualifying and race penalties after a contact with Franco Colapinto. In addition to the poor performances and a Fanta F1 average of 1,95 points, what makes Tsunoda really disadvantageous to deploy is his price: well 17 credits, with which one could divert one's attention to drivers who are currently in better shape and, above all, more comfortable with the team and the car.
Who not to choose among the top drivers?
When talking about the top drivers, that is, those of the first and second tier, it is really complicated to talk about “not recommended”. We are still talking about McLaren, Verstappen and, further away, Ferrari and Mercedes. That said, the goal of the not recommended is to help fantasy managers understand who will score fewer points, especially compared to their direct competitors. Among the top drivers, therefore, it is essential to also try to understand how their cars will behave throughout the weekend.
At Fanta F1 for the Silverstone GP we recommend keeping on the bench, at least for this time, Max Verstappen. But why? Being a top-tier driver, together with Norris and Piastri, he will surely bring home many points for his fantasy managers, especially if he is deployed as captain. The retirement in Austria was a coincidence but, in any case, it came after a dull weekend, to which the problems of his Red Bull certainly contributed. Here, however, the question is not how fast Verstappen will go, because the Dutchman is a sure thing about this and is always capable of reserving some surprises for those who love this sport. The problem, however, is the gap technical which could suffer towards the two papayas.
Indeed, Silverstone is a circuit that could see as The main obstacle for the teams is tyre degradation. It is no coincidence that Pirelli will bring harder compounds (C2, C3 and C4). However, we know that one of McLaren's strong points is that it suffers less from tyre degradation. The same Horner, in the post Austrian GP, was amazed at how Piastri failed to consume his tyres despite the large amount of time he spent glued to Lando Norris' exhausts. Furthermore, the layout of the English circuit features fast corners, some fairly long straights and significant braking points. The structure will therefore have to take this multiformity into account. of the route and, the car that is best able to adapt to these mixed conditions is precisely McLaren.
For this reason, among the three leading drivers, We do not recommend choosing Max Verstappen, who could find himself in difficulty compared to the more highly rated Norris and Piastri. Furthermore, if Ferrari were to continue in the wake of what was seen in Austria, the Dutchman and his team could find themselves fighting even the Maranello stable, struggling further.
