Even at Fanta F1, with the Imola weekend, a world championship 2.0 seems to have begun. Of course, Verstappen won everything this weekend but not with his usual coolness and this bodes well for the next races. Whoever came closest to the Dutchman's score this weekend was once again Land Norris. The difference in Imola was made by qualifying and we saw it with various teams but above all with Ferrari who, despite good times especially with Leclerc, were unable to worry the McLaren of Norris and Verstappen. At Fanta F1 this challenge is also reflected in the scores, so let's see how the drivers fared during the Imola GP weekend.
Ferrari, first positive signs but the three-way fight puts it at risk
Imola showed us that the long-awaited updates on the Red have worked, even if there is still some margin to recover especially in qualifying. In fact, on the race pace Red Bull, McLaren and Ferrari have shown they can compete. Another thing that the updates have revealed is that Ferrari's future direction seems clear, oriented more towards Leclerc rather than Sainz. In fact, the Spaniard comes from two weekends in which he collected little, less than his teammate. The first Ferrari therefore seems to be that of Leclerc. Which also changes the overview of Fanta F1, given the important differences in the latest scores of the drivers.

Another important difference is that between Verstappen and Perez. The Mexican struggled a lot in Imola, finishing with just 6 points in the Fanta F1. Perez wasn't the worst though. There is a driver who this weekend scored the worst score of this season start at Fanta F1. This pilot is Alexander Albon. His -14 for penalties and retirement is a cold shower for the fantasy managers who had chosen him. In all this Albon also has renewed with a multi-year term. A very courageous choice.
