Victory number 41 for Max Verstappen, the one that earns him a place of honor, next to Ayrton Senna; victory number 100 for Red Bull which enters the history of the most successful teams; the podium rediscovered for Fernando Alonso and the second in a row for Hamilton; the tire management and strategy of Ferrari which finds a bit of serenity and good performance; Albon's 7th place and the "title" of MVP of the race. It can be said that the Canada satisfied everyone a bit. But was it like this at Fanta F1 too? Let's find out with the tops and flops of the weekend, because unfortunately there were some disappointments!
THE TOP
Max Verstappen: To say that he is here only because of the car is truly an understatement. The truth is that Max Verstappen is in perfect symbiosis with the car, something that not everyone can do. Just look at Perez who has been struggling for some races both in qualifying and in the race, both under pressure and with a clear mind. He could really win them all and deservedly so. Today the mention in the top is a must. Perfect weekend in every respect and victory that earns him a place in the Olympus of the greatest. There are many races on the calendar, it's true, but winning them all still requires a great effort, if not greater concentration.
Ferrari: It will seem strange to see her here even though she didn't get a podium this weekend either. But it is a completely different situation from that seen in Spain. There Sainz had started on the front row and found himself a few positions further behind. Not even Leclerc managed to move up the ranks. While here in Canada neither of them started in the top 8 but with a good strategy and very low degradation despite a very long stint, both Charles and Sainz finished in the top 5. The team's growth continues and it is important that there are no other setbacks.
Alexander Albon: A great performance by Alexander Albon who was also elected best Sky driver, as well as on a world scale. With a textbook defense he leaves a train of single-seaters following him for several laps. Did he perhaps take this power from Alonso? His 7th place is worth gold, even at Fanta F1. Never mind that Helmut Marko doesn't call him back for the role of second Red Bull driver.

THE FLOP
George Russell: This time Mercedes has to split in half. On the Hamilton garage side we celebrate, on the other side we pack everything up well in advance. A disappointing weekend arrives in Canada for George Russell which came from a fantastic podium in Spain. The contact with the wall in the early stages of the race condemned him to a race behind Alexander Albon, and the excessive wear of the left front brake led to the inevitable retirement after 55 laps. This is the second DNF of the season for George, after the one in the Australian Grand Prix.
Nico Hulkenberg: The fall of Nico Hulkenberg, who for a few hours yesterday anticipated a splendid second position - later converted into fifth after the 3-place penalty - was all too rapid. Nobody would have bet on a competitive Haas in the race but losing all these positions with a more than anonymous race is truly disheartening for the Fantasy managers who had fielded him.

Land Norris: It could have been a good weekend for Lando Norris but not even his overtaking on Ocon would have saved him from the penalty that hit him. 5 seconds which makes him lose the points zone and also 5 points for the Fantasy Managers.
