Not even the unpredictable Monaco he took the victory from the hands of Max Verstappen who, with this success, becomes to all intents and purposes the most successful driver in the history of Red Bull. The rain, which arrived about 20 laps from the end, sent teams and riders into a tailspin who did everything to avoid contact with the barriers. In Monaco, against all odds, the long-awaited victory number 33 does not arrive Fernando Alonso, second after a series of pit-stops that took him away from Max. A surprise, however, is the podium for Esteban Ocon with Alpine who now has the same podiums as Ferrari in the championship. Just Ferrari, on the birthday of its Team Principal, Vasseur, however, has disappointed expectations. Let's see overall how our drivers fared at Fanta F1 with the Monte-Carlo tops and flops.
Top
Max Verstappen: let's start with Max, the winner of the Grand Prix. After a problematic start to the weekend, the Dutchman decides to get his claws and his voice out. The RB19 is then set up to make it one with the pilot. This allows him to extract the maximum and the performance in qualifying puts him in the ideal position for the Grand Prix. After the pole comes the perfect management of the race and the victory which is not so obvious on a track like Monte-Carlo. Many bonuses rained down for the Dutchman at Fanta F1, from Pole, to the position on his teammate – forced to invent any one to recover from the back – up to the Sky Driver of the Day award.

Stephen Ocon: nobody could have taken away the podium from him today, due to Esteban's grit on the track. Today he is the moral winner. Alpine and Esteban built this success on Saturday with qualifying. 4th place turned into 3rd with Leclerc's penalty. In the race, the Frenchman defended himself masterfully, and his strategy also allowed him to keep third place. It's no small thing if we consider that in Ferrari, for example with Sainz, the team has lost positions compared to the starting one. This third place at Fanta F1 brings many points that allow him to get some air after a somewhat muted start.
Lewis Hamilton: fourth place and fastest lap for Lewis Hamilton who returns home from Monte-Carlo with a half smile, even after beating his team-mate in all the sessions of the weekend with a few kidney failures. The W14 has started the update program that will transform it into the phantom "B" version.
Flop
Nico Hulkenberg: many, too many penalties for Nico Hulkenberg who leaves Monte-Carlo with a negative score. The German driver immediately started off on the wrong foot, getting into trouble on the first lap. The race is just the epilogue of a difficult weekend for the whole team.
Sergio Perez: a waking nightmare. What Monaco gave Perez last year, he took back with interest in 2023. The Mexican's qualification compromises everything. In the race, not even the Red Bull strategists can perform the miracle. Maybe the world struggle distracts him too much?
Lance Stroll: Lance's race takes a bad turn already at the start. Qualifying places him in the rearmost positions, the most dangerous ones, so much so that a contact arrives immediately at the start. From there the situation didn't improve, on the contrary, the rain made everything worse and forced Lance to make various rescue attempts, unfortunately useless. His AMR23, out of control crashes several times and almost everywhere. The pilot is forced to retire, while his teammate goes to the podium. At Fanta F1 this withdrawal weighs particularly heavily. After all, there have only been two in the entirety of it race.
