An epic race, the one staged at Austin in yesterday evening. Spectacular overtaking, breathtaking accidents and stories to tell. As always, then, at Fanta F1 there are those who go up and there are those who go down. Let's find out the names and reasons.
WHO GOES UP
Sebastian Vettel. The German showed that he still has the talent that made him win 4 world titles, finishing seventh with a textbook overtaking on the outside of Magnussen on the last lap. The driver of the day award and the fact that he also led the race for several laps are further reasons to give him a +1.

Esteban Ocon. Underrated but convincing performance by the French driver, who finished in eleventh place after a comeback from the back of the grid but managed to snatch a point after the penalty from teammate Alonso.

Kevin Magnussen. After a disappointing qualifying which saw him excluded in Q1, the Dane made up for it in the race and brought four precious points to Haas in the team's home Grand Prix. The fight with Vettel was then that extra touch of magic, despite the fact that the Dane came out defeated.

WHO COMES OFF
Carlos Sainz. A practically innocent retirement for the Spaniard, who leaves Austin empty-handed after a spectacular pole position on Saturday. In the incident with Russell he couldn't do much, but one must depreciate his value in any case.

Daniel Ricciardo. The bad moment continues for the Australian, who also finished outside the points yesterday, sixteenth 90 seconds behind the winner while his teammate Norris finished sixth. As already happened in Suzuka, we can only depreciate his value.

Pierre Gasly. Another hail of penalties for the Frenchman from AlphaTauri, as already happened in Suzuka. To aggravate the situation in this case is also the ninth place of teammate Tsunoda, for the first time in the points since the Spanish GP last May.
