The last event before the Formula 1 summer break will be held on the legendary circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, and comes after a very interesting weekend in Hungary. This seven kilometer long track is one of the most evocative in the world and has seen some of the best moments in the history of the sport. After Red Bull's dominant 1-2 at the Hungaroring, McLaren presents itself as the team to beat, and a victory at Spa could consolidate his position in the championship race. Here are our Fanta F1 tips for the Belgian GP.
The top 5 to line up in the NOW Community Club
This year too, Max Verstappen is preparing to start with a ten-place grid penalty due to the use of a new ICE. Although he has won the last two Belgian GPs despite grid penalties, repeating those feats will be more difficult given the progress of McLaren and Mercedes. With McLaren in great form and Red Bull in a less dominant phase, the Belgian weekend promises to be particularly interesting. Here is our top 5 drivers to line up at Fanta F1, using the 100 credits available in the NOW Community Club.
Norris, Piastri, Stroll, Magnussen, Sargeant
McLaren's Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri are the obvious choices: their car has demonstrated extraordinary competitiveness on both slow and fast circuits, and with Verstappen headed for a penalty, the two drivers could capitalize as much as possible. Both Lando and Oscar have grown in price and this makes the choice of the other three drivers to field more difficult. For the Belgian GP we chose to focus on Lance Stroll, who reached the points zone for two consecutive weekends, overtaking a two-time world champion in Fernando Alonso. And finally Magnussen and Sargeant, two low-cost choices but which can reserve some surprises.
