The street circuit of Baku hosted the first weekend Sprint of the season, in a new format. An experiment that saw two qualifyings and two races and only one free practice session. The effects of this experiment meant that a large part of the "show" was concentrated on Fridays and Saturdays. Sunday's race was less exciting, the result of a more conservative management of the riders called to take to the track blindly, without data, without references, if not with their own sensations. The long weekend brought success to some riders, and a greater awareness of their talent. For others it was a real nightmare from start to finish. Even at Fanta F1 it was a long and difficult weekend. Not all choices have led to the desired result, other bets instead have paid off. After Australia so here we are with the second change of odds of the season. We see the drivers go up or down in price at Fanta F1.
Who goes up
Sergio Perez + 1: First up is Sergio Perez, the winner of the Sprint and the Sunday Race. In a weekend in which Red Bull took to the track with various updates, he takes to the track with the right attitude. Street circuits exalt him and he managed to overshadow Max Verstappen, in a bad weekend for the Dutchman. A nice injection of confidence for a season that hangs steeply towards Red Bull and which could only be revived with better performances from the Mexican.

Current value: 31 Masi
Fernando Alonso + 1: He almost gets to the podium number 4 but he's always there. In the race he is lucid, calculating. He manages his own strategy and that of his partner. He just needs a car to support him, he can rest assured about the rest. At Fanta F1 he grinds points after points. Overtaking him on Sainz is pure magic. No need to add anything else.
Current value: 21 Masi
Valtteri Bottas +1: I know what you are thinking: what is Valtteri doing among the riders to rise in quotation? His upgrade is justified by the fact that it's becoming almost a certainty now for the last place bonus. If Sainz hadn't been penalized in Australia he would have finished 3/4 last places. His points average is encouraging and constant. He never closed in the negative.
Current value: 17 Masi
Who gets off
Nyck De Vries – 1: Too many mistakes this weekend cost dearly to those who fielded him. A bit muted start of the season for Nyck who is bulliedly taking them from Tsunoda. Together with Sargeant he is the only driver who has not yet made a point in championship.
Current value: 13 Masi
Zhou Guanyu – 1: Unfortunately, the Chinese rider Zhou is also down. Although he is not the author of his DNF, he has too high a cost to entice the Fantamanagers to deploy him.
Current value: 13 Masi
Pierre Gasly – 1: The latest rider to drop is Pierre Gasly. In a weekend with double points, also considering those offered by the Sprint on Saturday, he is unable to score even one. The weekend is a complete disaster. Are we to believe in the Gasly seen in Bahrain or this one?
Current value: 17 Masi
