The last race weekend before the summer break feels a bit like the last day of school. There is adrenaline, tension, the desire to amaze and to redeem oneself by closing this first part of the season with an excellent mark. Among those who want to redeem themselves there is the Ferrari, looking for a victory that could reopen the World Championship increasingly oriented towards Red Bull, but above all towards Max Verstappen. As difficult as the comeback is, neither Charles Leclerc nor does the team want to put aside the dream of bringing the World Championship back to Maranello. Hungary is that crossroads for which the World Cup can take one direction or another. A bit like our choices at Fantasy F1, increasingly difficult. Here too, leaving one of Max and Charles on the bench is difficult. At least if the rain comes to complicate the weekend. Let's try to put aside the indecision and see who to line up with at the Hungaroring our advice to Fanta F1!
Thank you Seb
The weekend in Hungary started yesterday with the official of the farewell of Sebastian Vettel at the end of the season. News that we never wanted to hear because it represents the closure of an important cycle. Especially for the generations who grew up with the myth of this young prodigy with thick and very blond hair who arrived early and with arrogance to success. After a series of difficult years, the Austria a few weeks ago Vettel, after yet another disappointment, realized that this adventure had come to an end and that the time had come to open another chapter, away from racing. This farewell was probably the biggest obstacle Sebastian has had to face since the start of the 2022 season.
With a clear mind, a clear conscience and nothing more to prove, the only goal to pursue is to have fun. And what better way to do that than by placing yourself alongside an old rival like Fernando Alonso? Both can give us a great weekend in Hungary. The race pace of Alpine e Aston Martin, which we have seen in the FP1 e FP2 it's good. Furthermore, Aston presented a very particular winger by exploiting a gray area of the regulation. This gamble, assuming it works, could reshuffle the cards and lead some teams down the same path. There's a great desire to see how they'll do!
McLaren surprise of the weekend?
One of the things that most amazed us in FP1 and FP2 was seeing both McLarens up front, constantly. Lando Norris it is true that he manages to make a difference by going beyond the limits of the car, a bit like Leclerc did with less competitive cars. But Ricciardo's closeness is more indicative. The Hungaroring may be the "exception". Plus one Mercedes in trouble could favor McLaren's 'outsider' role on a short track like this.

Red Bull sleeps
We know it by now: Verstappen's complaints cannot be missing on a self-respecting weekend. Yet another disappointing Friday for Red Bull which barely closes in the top 10 with Perezmore and more in difficulty. If there was a remake of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” he would be Sleepy. Disastrous both on the flying lap, which he tries until he passes out, and in race pace simulation. The real surprise is this, a Red Bull in difficulty on all fronts. But you know, the tests that count are between Saturday and Sunday. Furthermore lower temperatures could wake the two sleeping bulls.
Ferrari on the crest of a wave but watch out for the rain
Not even to say the queen of Fridays is the Red of Maranello, this time reversed with Red Bull on the race pace. There F1-75 brought no relevant updates but he seems to have found his rhythm both on the race pace and on the flying lap, with both riders. Carlos Sainz is rebuilding its season after the disappointments at the beginning of the year and being colder and more selfish than Leclerc – obviously in a good way – he can achieve a lot. On the other side of the coin is the great regret about the weather conditions. Saturday brings rain, Sunday doesn't. Already the first sign that the divinities, perhaps due to the color not really suitable for the celestial vaults, have once again chosen which side to take. Or who gives you wings.

Fanta F1 Advice
Given the necessary premises, but above all the necessary exorcisms, let's go and see who to line up at Fanta F1! we will choose two teams, one with the top driver and one with a mixed team of 103 credits. If you have more do not hesitate and take pilots with a higher value. This week we recommend – in addition to Charles or Max – Alonso, Vettel, Sainz, Norris, Bottas. Not so much there Haas which disappointed. Either they are hiding or they have problems.
TOP DRIVERS TEAM: Verstappen, Alonso, Vettel, Schumacher, Latifi
MIXED TEAM: Sainz, Norris, Bottas, Stroll, Latifi
