In reality, Valtteri Bottas experienced an anonymous season with Alfa Romeo, but in the world of Fantasy F1 managed to redeem itself with a stronger than expected performance. Despite the disappointing results on the track, Bottas demonstrated unexpected consistency, maintaining a positive points average which is not much different from that of last year. Now, with the sights set on 2026 and the arrival ofAudi, Valtteri hopes to show his true value and convince the German company to rely on him.
Two difficult seasons, but at Fanta F1 he manages to recover
Valtteri Bottas landed at Alfa Romeo last year after a long past at Mercedes. Accused of having simply been Hamilton's second driver, it has always been difficult for him to stand out. The risk of disappearing with a lower level team like Alfa Romeo has become more concrete. The team was unable to give importance to Alfa Romeo's farewell to the Circus, not going beyond ninth place in manufacturers ranking.
Bottas' season with Alfa Romeo was decent, achieving only four useful placings in a season characterized by rhythm difficulties. Both Valtteri and teammate Zhou fought to stay in the top positions, often finding themselves around twelfth-thirteenth in the race.
From a Fanta F1 perspective, Bottas amazed with his initial consistency, maintaining a positive points average despite the challenges of the under-performing single-seater. Compared to 2022, Valtteri also had fewer reliability problems. In fact, "only" 2023 withdrawals arrived in 3, half of the previous year. While he saw a decrease in average compared to the previous season, he remained more solid than many other drivers. However, next year will be fundamental for him. Valtteri is in fact aiming for a more competitive Sauber to convince Audi to consider him for the team.
