Alexander Albon marked his presence in Formula 1 with an extraordinary season at the wheel of Williams. Although the car had obvious limitations, the young Thai driver demonstrated enormous value, finishing in thirteenth place with 27 points, the same score combined of drivers like Bottas and Tsunoda. At Fanta F1 the young driver has repeatedly demonstrated that he has excellent potential. He closed the 2023 with a higher average than last year, despite paying for a few too many retirements. Let's see how his season went and how his path has changed.
A rebirth, a leap in quality and the challenge to the future
His history in F1 has been characterized by ups and downs: from the start with Toro Rosso in 2019, a move to Red Bull to replace Gasly in his debut year, to his farewell to F1 and a period of uncertainty before arriving at Williams in 2022. It was here that Albon found fertile ground for an astonishing rebirth. Despite the car being among the slowest, Albon drove with determination, becoming the focal point of the team alongside teammate Logan Sargeant. The result? An impressive run of top ten finishes, single-handedly contributing to Williams' seventh place in the constructors' championship.
His humble approach, considering himself part of a bigger cog, worked in his favor. His mentality of “winning and losing together with the team” has led to results that go far beyond the performance of the car. Williams finished ahead of other teams, an achievement that brought not only pride but also significant profits.
2023 brought a more competitive car, especially on certain tracks, and Albon emerged as the leader of a team that focused not only on proving its worth, but also on elevating the entire team. His growth was not only in his results on the track but also in his self-confidence, after difficult moments that questioned his abilities.

What does 2024 predict for Albon and his Fantasy managers?
In 2023 we have seen growth from Albon both at Fanta F1 and on the track. After seasons spent at the back, Williams is back fighting for points. But can Alex continue to show his growth and value at Fanta F1 in 2024? Will his determination, ability to adapt and leadership once again underpin Williams' success? At the moment we can only imagine but for 2024 we expect a further step forward and that Alexander's leadership, after two years within the team, will be even more decisive.
