The public made itself felt in the stands of Monza as early as the Friday of Free Practice that the great hostess, the Ferrari he finished with the best time in both sessions. However the FP1 have been somewhat skewed in the results. Norris, finding himself in front of Verstappen forced him to retreat, making him lose at least 8 tenths. The ones that probably would have put him forward both Reds, arrived with one celebratory livery in honor of 75 years. 75 years which also bears in the name the 2022 car, the F1-75, very low to face the temple of speed. To partially remedy a reversal of values on the track and the effect of the TD39, the Maranello team took advantage of FP1 and FP2 to compare the new fund with an older, “revisited” one. Red Bull and Ferrari man-marked each other on Friday. But there are several variables that can influence our choice of drivers to be deployed at Fanta F1.
Watch out for penalties
One of the surprises of this GP concerns the penalty. There are many riders who have opted for a change of Power Unit or certain elements for Monza. Verstappen, at the moment, will have to serve 5 positions compared to the qualifying result, Perez 10, Bottas 15. While Tsunoda, Sainz and Hamilton will certainly start from the back of the grid. It is not excluded that other drivers could face penalties, in fact there is also talk of Magnussen and Schumacher, who he accused in FP2 of having lost power.
Race pace
Red Bull, especially with Verstappen find a good pitch, better than Ferrari but without a striking difference at the moment. The fight will always be there, even if with the penalty of Verstappen, Sainz, Perez and Hamilton, Charles he shouldn't have too many problems managing the first phase of the race if he made the Pole. Also important the game of trails in qualifying, in which Hamilton and Sainz in particular could be useful. The Monegasque completed two fairly clean and positive sessions. Next to him is open struggle instead between Russell who however complained of an excessive bouncing in FP2 e Norris, which, however satisfied with the flying lap he has not too positive sensations for the race and fears losing several positions. Ricciardo continues to hide in the abyss, we advise against it also for this Grand Prix, as well as Tsunoda who has already caught another "disciplinary" penalty after that in Holland. From whom we expect a good weekend is the Alpine! Given the necessary premises, let's see our advice on who to deploy at Fanta F1!
I our teams
As always we will choose two teams. That of the top driver, which we choose to deploy in this Grand Prix as well, and the more mixed one, both with a credit base of 103 credits.
Top driver team: Verstappen, Alonso, Stroll, Schumacher, Latifi
Mixed team: Leclerc, Alonso, Ocon, Stroll, Bottas
