The Swiss team Jenzer Motorsport, will tell goodbye to the championship of FIA Formula 3 at the end of this season. To give it'announcement he was the founder, as well as co-owner, Andreas Jenzer.
Jenzer Motorsport ready to say goodbye to F3
Andreas Jenzer revealed to Formula Scout the decision to leave the preparatory category. Announcement which was however followed by reassurance that the teams from the Central European Zone and Italian F4 will continue their path.
"Me and my wife Esther we are approaching retirement age. We have been in GP3 since the first day way back in 2010. We then stayed when the transition to Formula 3 occurred, also because it is always a pleasure to work with a high-level organization".
Andreas continued by saying: “One day you have to think about moving towards what will be the second act of your life, perhaps more calmly. Having managed the company for 31 years full I think it is It's time to slow down a little ".

Who will fill the vacant position?
Sul future of the members who currently work in team, the former pilot explains: “Some people will move to the top category, others will move to Formula 2, but nothing strange will happen to the company". L'Jenzer's F4 adventure – unlike the one in F3 – It doesn't seem to have reached the end of the line for now. "We will push hard in F4 to continue to develop new generation drivers".
Un such rational thinking does not seem to leave room for emotions, or perhaps there just isn't the time to process them. Andreas confides that he is not the type for tears or even celebrations, but adds: “It would be nice to finish in Monza with a victory, it's always a big challenge there".
While the Swiss team prepares for thelast round of the Formula 3 championship, the rumors in the paddock of who will inherit the vacant seat next year are becoming stronger. The most accredited hypothesis is that DAMS, a team involved in F2, will also land in the other preparatory category.
