Hip on lap 3, Luke Browning Loses Control of his car braking and triggers a multiple accident. The Hitech driver manages to return to the pits to replace the damaged parts, while the Safety Car enters the track. The race restarts on the seventh lap with Dunne leader, while Mini loses a position on Christian Mansell.
Error for Leonardo Foraroli who passes through the gravel at Ascari and finishes in P5 behind the Palermo driver. On the eighth lap Mini is put under pressure from #4, makes a small oversight that Fornaroli exploits to take itself into its drains and review it. Meguetounif manages to advance on the MP Motorsport team driver, thus taking the leadership of the race.
Leonardo Fornaroli becomes Formula 3 Champion
Fornaroli Wants to Attack Alex Dunne for third position, while being chased by the number 2 of Prema. The Trident pilot gets rid of the Irish and grabs the third position, thus putting a single-seater between himself and his direct rival for the title. The relief for the driver from Piacenza was short-lived, as on the following lap he also Mini fails to overtake Dunne.
Pushed into the grass by Stenshorne, Santiago Ramos goes for a spin, while his teammate Fornaroli has arrived behind Mansell. The #4 goes to the block at turn 1 after passing the Australian ART GP. Also Gabriele manages to pass Mansell and moves into Leonardo's DRS zone.
The Palermo player tries, Fornaroli defends: it's a all-Italian duel the one that number 23 is watching. Minì passes Fornaroli with two laps to go, now the roles are reversed. Mansell overtakes Piacenza driver who thus becomes second in the drivers' standings. Leonardo Fornaroli overtakes the Australian on the last corner of the last lap, thus becoming Formula 3 Champion.
La Feature Races of F3 of the Monza GP is won from an undisturbed Megetounif, accompanied on the podium by Gabriele Minì and his teammate who is now category champion. This 2024 season it closes with the first two positions occupied by Italians - Fornaroli and Minì – and a Constructors' title won by Prema, what will next season have in store for us?
