La Formula 2 get back on track a Barcelona after a long break for the sixth seasonal event, with Paul Aron, world leader, who placed in first position after the free practice of the Spanish GP, with a time of 1:26.922.

The session struggles to get to the heart of things, with most drivers entering the track after 15 minutes. The times begin to decrease and Aron places himself immediately in front, a position he will never leave until the end of free practice, while fittipaldi and Colapinto complete the provisional top 3, which will later turn out to be the final one, 13 minutes from the end.
In today's session there were some positive and some negative notes in the paddock. If we talk about DAMS, eighth force in the world championship, were great excellent free practice, given the placing of the two drivers in fourth e farm position.
If we talk about Rodin it was a very difficult session, with Maloney only twentieth. Difficulties that continue after the start of the bubbly season. Slight difficulties also for Prema, with Ollie Bearman e Antonelli respectively in 11° e 14° position.

The Italian rider didn't have one of his best mornings. TO 10 minutes from the end he had to stop in the pits due to a part of the chassis moving, a problem subsequently resolved by the Prema mechanics.
In the end then big thrill, with Antonelli which ends up in the gravel at the last bend and avoids the barriers for a couple of metres. The drivers will return to the track at 15pm for Qualifying.
