The drivers who will take part in the F2 championship grid in 2024 have now been defined. There are very few seats left to be assigned but it is now clear who the favorites are.
The last appearance on the track of the F2 badged Dallara 2018 at Yas Marina marks the end of an era. A new car will debut in 2024 and it is already a challenge for the teams. To date, out of 22 drivers who will occupy the grid have been 18 names made official. They remain four seats to be assigned, but the favorites to fill those seats are well known. So let's meet the pilots who will take part in the season Formula 2 in 2024.

The grid for the 2024 F2 season:
- ART Grand Prix: Zak O'SULLIVAN – Victor MARTINS
For the team ART Grand Prix, a team that won the constructors' and drivers' titles in the 2023 season with Theo Pourchaire, replacing the outgoing champion, we have the runner-up of Formula 3 Zak O'Sullivan. Promising young womanAcademy Williams, pilot automotive British with Irish ancestry, who will be 2 years old when he debuts in Formula 19. In the F3 season he got it 4 victories and 1 podium, making him the driver to win in 2023 in that category, even surpassing defending champion Gabriel Bortoleto. Rookie who could also worry his teammate on occasion, Victor martins.
To complete the line-up ART Grand Prix there will still be French Victor martins. The best Rookie of the 2023 season, as well F3 champion in 2022, although not yet officially confirmed, is called to be one of the title contenders for the 2024 championship. Certainly among the drivers to keep an eye on.

- According to Racing: Andrea Kimi ANTONELLI – Oliver BEARMAN
Hosting one of the strongest line-ups on the F2 grid in 2024 we have the team According to Racing. If in the 2023 season with the British driver Oliver Bearman there was talk of a fight for the best Rookie, this year he is called upon, with Victor Martins, to compete for the title. Driver of incredible talent, first driver ever to win the Italian and German F4 championship at the same time, star of the Ferrari Driver Academy who after an excellent 2023 is called upon to have a great season.
To complete the line-up we have the Italian Andrea Kimi Antonelli. Currently 17 years old, protégé of Toto Wolff. After becoming champion in the European Regional Formula, Formula 3 will be missed to go directly in Formula 2, creating together with Oliver a pairing rich in talent and with great expectations. The difference between the two is only one, Oliver Bearman almost has the obligation to fight for the title, Kimi Antonelli instead is called to show his immense potential, just like his teammate did in 2023.

- Rodin Carlin: Zane MALONY – MIYATA returns
For the Rodin Carlin team we have the Japanese instead Miyata returns. Another driver who arouses great interest thanks to his triumphs in Asia Super Formula e Super GT. He arrives in Europe, thanks to his results and his great versatility. Being able to express speed on any type of car can be an advantage especially in the initial stages of the Formula 2 championship. It is no coincidence that he is supported by Toyota, which was crucial for his passage to Europe.
Completing the pair of F2 drivers for the 2024 grid Rodin Carlin we Zane Maloney. Driver from Barbados and first Barbadian pilot to win the British Formula 4. The class of 2003 is another name to keep an eye on. After a final growth in Formula 3 and a run-in year in Formula 2, 2024 could be the turning point season. Driver who has joined the junior program since 2022 Red Bull Racing. Could this be decisive in preparing for the 2024 season?
- DAMS: Jak CRAWFORD – Juan Manuel CORREA
The team DAMS instead he relies on a totally American line-up: Jack Crawford e John Manuel Correa, in their second and third year respectively in the cadet series.
Two drivers who know the category well and who, with their experience, will carry forward the French team's hopes of returning to the most important positions on the 2024 F2 grid (which have now been continuously missing since 2019, after the farewell of Alexander Albon, Latifs e Chamber). The search for redemption of John Manuel Correa after the injury and the good results of Jack Crawford, 5 podiums with a victory, could be the ingredients for an interesting season.

- Invicta Virtuosi Racing: Gabriel BORTOLETO – Kush MAINI
In the team Virtuous instead we will have the reigning Formula 3 champion, Gabriel Bortoleto supported byMcLaren Academy. The Brazilian driver comes out of an important season, where he didn't take home many victories but he proved himself super consistent in results, effectively dominating the category; a season with excellent results cannot be ruled out.
Will pair with Kush Maini, a driver who last year brought home good results for the Campos team, and these guaranteed the Indian driver a place in theAlpine Academy.
- MP Motorsports: Dennis HAUGER – Franco COLAPINTO
The team MP Motorsports will take to the track Dennis Hauger, on the grid for the third time in F2, e Franco Colapinto Argentinian passing through F3. For Dennis Hauger it is the season of "truth", now or never. A driver who has expressed great talent over the years but who has never really found continuity in Formula 2.
On the other hand, the teammate he will have this year is not to be underestimated. Franco Colapinto he finished in 4th position in Formula 3 but it should be noted that a victory was taken away from him due to technical disqualification. Season enough unlucky for him. With the results expressed on track he would be 2nd behind Gabriel Bortoleto.

- Van Amersfoort Racing: Enzo FITTIPALDI – Rafael VILLAGOMEZ
For the team Van Amersfoort Racing we Enzo Fittipaldi as a confirmed pilot e Rafael Villagomez after three years of Formula 3. We are still waiting for the official announcement for the Mexican driver, but with great probability he will be Fittipaldi's teammate. The grandson of the two-time Formula 1 champion Emerson Fittipaldi, is in his fourth season in Formula 3. A lot of experience, which can help him and his teammate in understanding the behavior of the new single-seaters.
- HitechGP: Paul ARON – Amaury CORDEEL
With HitechGP instead we find Paul ARON, a driver who has achieved good results in F3, lots of consistency and a victory which still makes him one of those who, if he adapts well, can do well with the Hitech team. The only question mark is whether the Estonian driver will be supported by the program or not Junior Mercedes, given the absence of the Mercedes logo on the suit in stage a Macau.
To complete the line-up of drivers we have Amaury CORDEEL, a Belgian driver in his third year in Formula 2, thanks to his experience he could be a driver who easily adapts to the new single-seaters.

- racing fields: Isack HADJAR – Pepe MARTI'
The team too racing fields in 2024 it brings very interesting drivers. First of all he bets on a young Spaniard, Pepe Martí. Driver who, after a splendid season in Formula 3, in which he achieved numerous victories, joins the program Red Bull Junior Team; furthermore it has always been supported, since Kart, by 2 times world champion of F1, Fernando Alonso. Factors that make Marti a “loose cannon” of F2.
To close the couple of drivers from Team Campos Racing we have Isack HADJAR, a driver we have already met in Formula 1, taking part in the Mexico Free Practice and Abu Dhabi Alpha Tauri. Could his experience in F1 be useful to him in 2024?

- Trident: Richard VERSCHOOR – Roman STANEK
For the Italian team Trident let's talk about a return instead, that of Richard Verschor. The Dutch driver who will probably share the team with roman stanek (official announcement on the Czech driver is expected).
- PHM Racing: Joshua DUERKSEN – Taylor BARNARD
And finally, for the team PHM Racing we Joshua Duerksen e Taylor Barnard, forming a line-up composed only of Rookie. Perhaps more than anyone else they present themselves as underdogs on the grid but, with the many variables of 2024... never say never!
