MP Motorsports confirmed Oliver Goethe in Formula 2 with them next season, thus completing the driver line-up for 2025.
Oliver Goethe He moved up to F2 with MP Motorsport at Monza, replacing Franco Colapinto after a season as a protagonist in Formula 3, where he achieved a victory and two other podiums, finishing seventh in the overall standings.
Since his call up to F2, the German driver has achieved 12 points for the team, all conquered in the last Feature Race in Lusail, where it obtained a fourth place.
He is now preparing to compete in his first full season in F2, alongside Richard Verschor. Commenting on the ad, Goethe said that in MP Motorsport the experiences gained in 2024 will be fundamental to best face his first full season.

“I am really happy to continue with MP Motorsport in 2025,” said Goethe. “It is the logical choice: my four F2 races with MP this season have given me invaluable experience working with the team and also with Richard, which we will use as a springboard to tackle the full Formula 2 season together next year.
“I had a lot of great moments with the team when I started in single-seaters five years ago and, on my return to Monza, I immediately felt at home. I am looking forward to racing one last time in Abu Dhabi before preparing for the 2025 challenge.”
