The cadet category is flying high Abu Dhabi for the final round 2024 that will crown the Sample. Some teams they already look to the future: this is the case of an Italian team. Trident indeed announced that Max Esterson will be a full time pilot in the next FIA F2 Championship.
After Qatar, Esterson gets confirmed
During Qatari weekend, the American pilot Esterson made his debut in F2 on board a Trident-branded single-seater. Max will also be present at the final appointment in Yas Marina, where he will conclude an eventful 2024 season for him. The youngster at the beginning of the year made his Formula 3 debut with Jenzer Motorsport.
During the Championship reached the points zone on two occasions, including the first Sprint Race of the year at Sakhir. In Formula 3 Esterson also managed to take a starting from the front row in the weekend of Silverstone. Max’s career however began in IRacing, before making the move to Formula Ford in the UK and winning the Formula Ford Festival in 2022.
