First appointment with the Sprint Race of F2 at Silverstone, finally we get on track for the first race of the weekend. I'm on the English circuit 27 laps to go to reach the checkered flag. So let's see what happened on the track.
The first in Formula 2 for Andrea Kimi Antonelli
Le qualifications on Friday for the stage at Silverstone in F2 see Isack Hadjar pole sitter but, thanks to the inversion of the grid, Andrea Kimi Antonelli e Maloney they will start from first row of Sprint Race today.

A opportunity to make the most of for the Barbadian driver who, after the splendid race in Bahrain, has almost always struggled; but also for the pilot of theMercedes Academy who could achieve his first victory in F2.
A race at the limit, extreme conditions.
Departure launched in F2, there are no conditions for a standing start and positions frozen for only a few laps. Prema's number 3 also gets off to a very good start, Oliver Bearman immediately tries to attack Gabriel Bortoleto who is visibly slower due to Crawford. In an attempt to overtake he damaged his front wing, losing the left wing.

The Invicta Racing driver absolutely must get rid of the Argentine driver, who is slower in this phase of the race, and he does so with a fantastic move. Gabriel Bortoleto surpasses Crawford with a super overtaking on the outside of “Maggots” e “Becketts”.
We are now at giro 5 and the weather conditions are starting to be really impassable, Correa spins and race suspended. Virtual Safety Car e Red flag, the F2 Sprint Race at Silverstone it will leave again at 13pm.
Opportunity for Oliver Bearman who will be able to replace the broken winger.

We start again but the difficulties continue, new Safety Car.
The race starts again, new start launched and provisional classification that still sees in Inline position Andrea Kimi Antonelli, in Inline Zane Maloney and in Inline Kush Maini.
The first two stay out of trouble, while from 3rd position onwards there is great chaos. On lap 8 a fight between Zak O'Sullivan and Paul Aron leads to the championship leader being rear-ended by Pepe Marti.
The HiTech driver and the Campos driver were forced to retire, while Zak O'Sullivan escaped unscathed and, due to a slightly slower pace than the three, caused the chaos. Isack Hadjar was also forced to retire after losing his car due to aquaplaning in Copse.

New Safety car, the race resumes on lap 13.
Another furious restart with Victor Martins OUT and Oliver Bearman who, like Hadjar, goes long and compromises his race in Copse. OUT also for driver number 3 of Prema.
We are on lap 16 of 21, The race time limit now kicks in and this leads the F2 Sprint Race to close within 4 minutes.

The race ends with a desperate late attack by Bortoleto on Kush Maini, earning third place. Domination imposed by Andrea Kimi Antonelli who finished in first position with an 8 second advantage over Maloney.
