Many pilot mistakes
The F2 free practice session for the Monza GP starts at 11:00 and all the drivers start to lap the track trying to find confidence with the single-seater on new asphalt to set the fastest lap. The first to stop the clock is Zane Maloney with 1:35:440 and then all the others started to lower their times more and more but you can also see many small mistakes because the drivers have to be able to interpret the changes in the track, in particular with regards to the first corner where there were many long ones.
La Trident after the problems with his F3 single-seater he also finds problems during this F2 free practice session in fact Staneck He manages to get out on track only 20 minutes before the end of the session but is still very far from the times of the others and is forced to return to the pits again.
The fastest riders in the first part of this session were Zane who returns to the top with a 1:33.664 before Zak O'Sullivan you overtake him with a 1:33.646 only to be overtaken by Piles with 1: 33: 209.
Among the various small errors by the drivers we can mention the long one by Jak Crawford who crosses the gravel at Ascari but then manages to continue without problems

With 7 minutes to go, Maloney and Bortoleto are fighting for the first position in these free practices, separated by less than a tenth.
Red flag and end of session
2 minutes to go Staneck he remains stuck at Ascari and makes us understand that the problems with his single-seater are not over, in fact he causes a Red flag and ends the free practice sessions slightly early. The times at the end of the first session see first Maloney, who dictated the times throughout the session, with 1:32:385 ahead of Bortoleto and very close to the second we find O'Sullivan

Goethe's debut
Il Danish pilot is making his debut in F2 in place of Colapinto who was promoted to the top division to finish the season in Williams in place of Sea-Gentleman.
With a quarter of an hour to go, Goethe, who is still inexperienced, turns off the car in the pit lane, also blocking Kimi Antonelli and forces the marshals to intervene to move and restart the cars.
At the end of the session it closes only at seventeenth placed a second and a half behind the first but began to gain experience with a single-seater he had never driven before

Prema Drivers Results
Bearman returns to mark good times after a difficult season by closing the free practice sessions at 5° place while Antonelli It seems to be in trouble because it only closes 18° but maybe he's already thinking about the FP1 that he will run with Mercedes at 13pm. In any case, this is a weekend that starts uphill for the Prema drivers who will have to serve a penalty which was inflicted on him during the Belgian GP.
