It's raining wet in the Prema house: after one negative race which led to Bearman's retirement already on the first lap and Antonelli's ninth place resulted in penalties for both promising drivers F2.
Antonelli and Bearman will serve the penalty in Monza
The British driver was penalized with 5 place grid penalty to be served in the next F2 Grand Prix. The reason is the accident he caused in Turn 1, leading Martì to retire. As stated in the press release, Bearman is to be considered totally responsible for the contact he had with Zane Maloney, who then hit the Campos rider.

For Antonelli the penalty is the same and it was caused by one dry ice leaking from your vehicle in the training lap. However, the same situation had also arisen at Silverstone. This still "suspended" sanction added to today's one will lead to the Italian driver having to serve a significant amount 10 penalty positions in the Monza GP.
Bad news therefore for the Prema couple who will have to start the Home F2 GP already uphill. We remind you that the Monza GP will take place in a month given that the summer break takes place after the race in Belgium.
