This morning the pilots of the academy of F2 take to the track for the first session Free tests in view of the Austrian GP. For this weekend, the temperature I'm definitely milder, and this should allow riders better tire management compared to Spanish round.
The Free Practice Session presents a nasty surprise for Barnard
With thirty minutes to go, the single-seaters speed around the track in an attempt to improve the simulation of the race pace. However, the session is suddenly interrupted by the car barnard due to some problems they cause a red flag.

And while the hands of the stopwatch continue to tick under the red flag regime, the cars return to the pits to complete any improvements. Twenty-four minutes from the checkered flag the cars start hitting the asphalt again Red Bull Ring. If in the first part of the session the riders concentrated mainly on race pace, this time all the effort is concentrated on the best time.
Hadjar on top of the certainties, Prema cooled down
In fact, it is the one who has greater certainties about the chrono Hadjar, at the top of the rankings. On the other hand, the Prema riders still seem to be quite cool.
With both cars in the pit lane, the team's mechanics work on the set-up F2. Another driver present at the top of the ranking is Paul Aron, who continues to give the team driver a hard time Farmlands.

Ten minutes from the end, he is having big problems with the car's set-up Myiata who despite his attempts remains stuck in twentieth position.
The session, however, did not bring further improvements because due to traffic, half of the cars on the track were unable to complete the fastest lap. For this reason, the teams look at the set-up of the single-seaters, in view of the afternoon qualifying.
