For the second consecutive weekend, after the Qatar, Formula 2 returns to the track in Abu Dhabi, for what will be the final round of a season of F2 incredible. The two protagonists, Gabriel Bortoleto and Isack Hadjar are separated by a mere 0,5 points. Let's see the times when the young pilots will be able to battle it out.
Abu Dhabi, heart-stopping season finale
Such a minimal distance to the last weekend can only bring to mind the Formula 1 season in 2021, while as far as Formula 2 is concerned, such closeness has not been seen for years. It's hard to say who is in a more positive moment; Bortoleto arrives in Abu Dhabi after 5 consecutive weekends in which he takes home at least 15 points. On the other hand, Hadjar in Qatar took advantage of the Brazilian's penalty to nibble away 4 points which brings it to -0,5.
It should also be taken into consideration that Hadjar perhaps has more to lose, as he has to try to earn a place in F1. The Formula 2 title would certainly put him in a good light, creating some headaches at Red Bull. Bortoleto, on the other hand, is already certain of a seat in the top category for 2025 and can afford to fight for the title knowing that it won't be decisive for his career.
