For the Formula 2, Monza is thelast stage before the weekend at Yas Marina, a sort of taste of what will then be the grand finale in Abu Dhabi. Between accidents, Safety Cars and withdrawals that weigh a lot from a championship perspective, Oliver Bearman triumphed in what in some ways is his second home race.
Bearman wins again
The championship leader, Theo Pourchaire, started from the first square of the grid, with by his side the Prema pilot, Bearman. The Frenchman made a good start, but was put through immediately under pressure by Bearman. The two sit side by side and go wheel to wheel, but at the Roggia it is the Englishman who comes out in front.

On lap 8 of 30, the driver of the Ferrari Driver Academy takes advantage of the Safety Car to mount a new set of tires. The same strategy is adopted by Pourchaire, but they inevitably end up behind, leaving Daruvala leads the group. With yet another Safety Car on the track, Daruvala and Iwasa pit and leave clear road in Bearman which returns first.
At each Safety Car, the built advantage from issue #8 comes canceled and the success of the restart is therefore important. Ollie doesn't miss a single one and manages to take it home fourth victory of the season. They also go up to the podium with him Iwasa e Pourchaire, for which the championship fight is still open.
Safety Car protagonist
The winner of the Sprint Race yesterday, Frederick News, started from eighth place with theaim to go back up position and overtake the ART GP driver in the drivers' standings. The Dane doesn't even finish the first lap, after a melee with Stanek, ends up in the barriers and turns around. But he's not the only one to retire on the opening lap, either Novalak ends up in the gravel at Lesmo and is forced to get out of his car.

Not a brilliant day either Arthur Leclerc ranging long at the first chicane and stops in the grass, putting an early end to his race. Strong impact instead on lap 13 for Zane Maloney, who after being tailed by Mason, ends up against the barriers.
Technical Problems instead for Victor martins, the pilot ofApline Academy received the orange and black flag for a DRS malfunction which remained constantly open. Out also hands after a wheel to wheel at Curva Grand with Crawford. The American returns to the pit to change the punctured tyre, but upon returning he ends up in the gravel following a duel with the Trident driver, Stanek.
The honor of decreeing the vincitore it will be up to Abu Dhabi!
