Max Verstappen he has no doubts about his future and, in view of Australian GP this weekend, take advantage of the media day interview to be able to reiterate this. The Dutch wants to stay in Red Bull and his intention to leave, as has been murmured several times over the last few weeks, does not exist at the moment. “I think there are so many reasons to be happy, Right? The car is fine – says Verstappen answering the question about a future away from Red Bull – and I'm really there so many great people on the team who constantly push themselves to the maximum in order to obtain the best results. I'm focused on this."
Verstappen clear in the interview before the Australian GP: “My future is in Red Bull”
The Dutchman has started the season in an incredible way. Two wins out of two and successes never really questioned: “I think it is the best start that we have ever had in a few years now" he explains. What makes the difference, once again, is the relationship with the car. Verstappen and the RB20, in fact, seem made for each other: “The balance with the car is incredible, and I think above all that as a team we are operating really well without making any big mistakes. I'm really happy here and I hope we can continue like this. We continue to learn what we can improve, but it's all quite positive already."
“I only think about the track”
The voices on Verstappen's future they are a lot. There is no shortage of chaos at Red Bull and several rumors speak of a concrete possible farewell of the Dutchman in the event of Helmut's exit Marko by the team. The figure of the Austrian is also in strong doubt, but at the moment Verstappen, as a world champion that he is, is only interested in thinking about the track. “I'm just focused on performance. I'm happy when I go home and I don't think about anything else because everything is already fine where I am and, above all, where I know I want to be” concluded the Dutchman.
