We are talking with other organizers in Europe to do something that will be announced soon. It will be a year for sure we will have many Grand Prix in Europe and at the moment we have many options in this regard” Domenicali explained to BILD.
Germany's return in 2026?
Among these Grand Prix, the one of Germany (along with the entry of Audi), whose last edition dates back to 2020 with the double stage at the Nurburgring in the season turned upside down by Covid. "Germany – Domenicali continued – It has always been part of our calendar, but unfortunately today we do not have a GP. Not because we do not want it, but because the situation in the country has changed. We are trying to find the right partners to re-establish a constructive dialogue. Audi is entering F1 and we already have a strong partner like Mercedes. Everyone is pushing for a solution, but we don't have one yet. Our job is to finally find one.".
