Despite the great chaos, always linked to the inevitable rain of the weekend, Max is still the winner Verstappen. The two-time world champion also takes home the Sprint of the Belgian GP, in front of a wonderful Oscar Piastres and at Pierre's Alpine gasly.
How much waiting before the restart
Rain is always the great protagonist of the Spa-Francorchamps weekend. An hour and twenty minutes of waiting, before the restart under the safety car regime and, above all, with full tyres law. The track evolves and improves more and more: in the first two laps, the great chaos - which the FIA wanted to avoid on the track - happens in the pits. The drivers return to move from wet to intermediate: from that moment we can restart and start with the Sprint!
Max unstoppable, but super Gasly
It's almost "useless" to dwell too much on the winner, now always him. Max Verstappen brings the Sprint and prepares to restart for tomorrow's race, in which he will be forced, due to the penalty, to start from sixth place. However, it was difficult to evaluate the race of teammate Perez, who was forced to retire due to a contact with Lewis Hamilton. An exceptional Pierre gets on the Sprint podium gasly who, with excellent timing in the pits, managed to gain three positions only at the start. The Frenchman finishes clearly ahead of his teammate Ocon in tenth.

Ferrari, the real test tomorrow
Inside Ferrari Carlos instead Sainz stands in front of Leclerc, concluding respectively in fourth and fifth positions – thanking the five second penalty imposed on Hamilton. A good mini-race for both reds, which leaves some hope for tomorrow, in which Leclerc will start in front of everyone. It should be underlined, however, that the Monegasque suffered an injury tire overheating. Behind them, Lando Norris and the two Mercedes with Hamilton – who finished fourth in the race – seventh, and teammate Russell eighth.
The great sin
A big shame for Daniel though Ricciardo who, starting eleventh, finished in tenth position. If it had been a race, we would be talking about the first points brought home by the Australian - after only two races since his debut - but in the Sprint the points zone only reaches the top eight positions. Fernando's race, however, should be forgotten Alonso who, after only three laps, hits the wall and is forced to retire.

The last act tomorrow
After so much unpredictability, the Sprint of the Belgian GP ends. Tomorrow the last one appointment before the summer break, with the race - on dry paper – scheduled at 15.00 pm.
