Ferrari seeks its way. After a very disappointing start to the season, the Maranello team wants to take charge second place in the constructors' classification. It certainly won't be easy, considering that Aston Martin and – above all – Mercedes are not giving up, but in Maranello they are working to try to improve the SF-23 and allow Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz to have a more drivable and balanced car.
Sainz: “The ranking can change every weekend”
Precisely for this reason, after the disappointing performance at Silverstone, Ferrari is preparing to arrive on the Hungaroring track with a little news, relating to the modification performed to the last flap of the front wing. An update that Sainz hopes will work, with the great aim of forgetting the misstep made in England: “We understand – said the Spaniard during the Thursday press conference – what went wrong at Silverstone. I already had the feeling that a track with high-speed corners would put us in difficulty, also considering the close battle between us opponents, who are always behind Max. One week we are ahead, another behind: the result it changes enormously but the performance not so much, it's just a question of the track. We need to be aware of all this."

“The wind affects our performance”
Coming instead to the Hungarian GP, Sainz admits that the Ferrari is too sensitive a car and that the wind direction is too - as admitted by Vasseur - can be decisive for the performance of the car: “Let's hope it can go better and that the track suits our characteristics. We know that we have weaknesses that make us vulnerable, such as wind patterns. However, if there are good conditions, we aim to have a good weekend."
“Proud of my Spain”
Sainz's national team, Spain to be precise, is experiencing an excellent period of form: just think of the victory of alcaraz last week at Wimbledon. In this regard, the Ferrari driver's thoughts are very clear: “I am simply proud of my country. We are a relatively small country but we manage to produce excellent athletes: Rafa (Nadal, ed.), the national basketball team but also the football team is very strong and now also Alcaraz. It's a good time to be Spanish and to watch sport: I'm proud to be part of it."
