Formula 1 arrives in Las Vegas for the last triptych of races of the 2024 world championship, with Carlos Sainz ready to give my best for the Ferrari. Although the drivers' title is now out of reach for the Spaniard, the fight for the constructors world championship remains open, with the McLaren in the head and one Ferrari determined to recover 36 points. Thus begins a decisive challenge for the Maranello team, with Sainz ready to give his final contribution towards a world championship dream.

Las Vegas, Last Call for Ferrari's Constructors' Dream
For the Prancing Horse, this will be a crucial opportunity to reduce the gap before the last two races of the season. Carlos Sainz does not hide his determination. For the Spaniard, this final triptych represents not only the final chapter of his adventure in Ferrari, but also the possibility of leaving an indelible mark: “My mentality doesn’t change. I will be a Ferrari driver until the last corner of the last race of the season. And I can't imagine a better gift for the team than victory in the Constructors' World Championship".
Las Vegas' Redemption After Interlagos

Two weeks after difficult weekend of Interlagos, which ended with a retirement due to an accident on a wet track, Sainz wants to turn the page. “The last race in Brazil was definitely not very satisfying for me. But we have put it behind us and now we are fully focused on Las Vegas”, declared the Spanish driver during the Media Day.
Last year, the Las Vegas GP had been the scene of great misfortune for Sainz, victim of a raised manhole cover who damaged his SF-23 during free practice. This year, however, the number 55 is confident he will not encounter the same problems: “I'm sure that, being a sophomore, certain situations will never happen again and that we will be free to concentrate on the work we have to do”.
A favorable path, but with unknowns

The city layout of Las Vegas, with its long straights and 90-degree bends, promises to be a great in favor of SF-24, but low temperatures remain an unknown. “Looking at the circuit, I would say that Ferrari should be competitive, or at least in the fight for the win. But if we look at the temperatures, we know that sometimes we struggle to activate the tyres. This could be a problem,” Sainz explained.
With four chances left to score points (three races and a sprint), Ferrari cannot afford to make mistakes: "It also requires McLaren to make mistakes. If they don't make any mistakes, they can win the title even if we manage to get victories and podiums until the end".
A sweet farewell

For Carlos Sainz, Las Vegas also represents the beginning of the last dance for the Prancing Horse, before landing in Williams in 2025. However, the focus remains exclusively on the present: “I would like to win the world championship with Ferrari. It would be a wonderful way to close this experience. At the same time, we know that the difficult period we faced in the middle of the season cost us dearly, but we are in good shape and have the right serenity to face this challenge”.
With the first free practice scheduled for tomorrow at 3: Italian 30, the Las Vegas GP is ready to get going. Ferrari will have to maximize its performance, reduce the gap to McLaren and keep the constructors' dream alive. Sainz and Leclerc are ready to give it their all. Only three races left to write history and bring the world title back to Maranello for the first time since 2008.
