While Leclerc took first place FP2 of the Monaco GP, Carlos Sainz found some difficulties. A not entirely positive start to the weekend for the Spaniard who still managed to finish to impose oneself among the pilots faster in the long run.
Sainz struggles in FP2 of the Monaco GP
During the Free Trials 1, number # 55 of Scuderia Ferrari he completed 35 laps on both hard and medium tyres. The best time set by the Madrilenian was 1:12.954, who it earned him tenth place.
In the FP2 session of the Monaco GP however, Sainz he managed to move up a few positions, closing in sixth. In the last twenty minutes, the full of fuel to run in race conformance. Carlos completed 36 laps finding a silver lining to this day: theexcellent pace in the long run.
