"In the first part of the race and also at the beginning of the second stint I had several brake vibrations". These are Carlos's Sainz following the Bahrain GP. The Spanish driver, like his teammate Leclerc, did not have a perfect feeling with the SF-24. The main reason, as explained by himself, is linked to the brakes, which caused various difficulties for both drivers red. "Eventually – says Sainz – it was all a balancing act: I had to get rid of the dirty air and outdo the others. I started saving moving a bit on the straight to cool down the side which was getting hotter and little by little the situation improved".
Ferrari, Sainz explains the brake problem he had in Bahrain
Despite several brake problems, Sainz managed to close the Bahrain GP positioning his Ferrari SF-24 in third place in the rankings. A very important result, which certifies the strength of the Red team which will try, over the course of this long season, to get ever closer to Red Bull. The basis on which to start developing, as admitted by the drivers themselves and also by team principal Vasseur, it is undoubtedly good. Now, therefore, we need to understand what to focus on to try to be increasingly competitive. The season has just begun and the indications collected on the SF-24 are positive even if not everything went smoothly in Bahrain: “The brakes – explained the Spaniard - they posed a problem. Then, once everything fell into place, I was able to set my pace and take the podium".

In Jeddah for redemption also at Fanta F1
After Bahrain, Sainz and, above all, Leclerc will have to redeem their performances at Fanta F1. The Spaniard closed the first race of the season with a victory 21 points, while Leclerc did not go beyond a bonus of +12 which, considering its cost, cannot be considered a very satisfactory score for him and his fantasy managers.
