Un Sainz dissatisfied has his say, exclusively to the microphones of F1. The Spaniard was questioned about the Friday of free tests in which he did not go beyond tenth position. However, things are different about his teammate Leclerc, who achieved the best performance ahead of Norris and Gasly.
Blockages and other problems…
When interviewed, Sainz took stock of a not very brilliant day. What struck the Spaniard in particular was the mistake made in the first free practice session. Sainz goes long and ruins the front wing, unable to return to the track. Speaking in the free place, he admitted: “It was a particular Friday: the first session was affected by the rain, while in the second we had to take this weekend's format into account by having to manage the tires carefully."

Sainz: “There is room for improvement”
Asked about the feeling issue with the SF-23, Sainz commented: "In my fast lap in FP2 I found a lot of traffic with cars simulating the race, while in the long run I felt more at ease, even though we completed a limited number of laps. Overall there is some room for improvement ahead of tomorrow, so we will continue to work hard."
