Towards second place in the constructors' division. This is the big one obiettivo of Ferrari who hopes to start his great run-up from the Dutch GP this weekend. It certainly won't be easy, especially considering the 56 points gap from Mercedes – currently second strength – but in Maranello they strongly believe that the objective, also considering Leclerc and Sainz, is highly within reach.
Sainz: “We still have to understand the car”
Ferrari's chase will begin from Zandvoort and they will try to build on the good things seen in the past Belgium, with the podium conquered by Leclerc. Different story however for Carlos Sainz, still without a podium since the start of the season. The Spaniard hopes to improve his performance in this second part of the year: “The spirit within the team is to try to understand as much as possible the characteristics of this year's car to analyze what we lack compared to Red Bull, which is our point of reference. We want give a twist to this season and we have to try hard to try to do better next year. It's no secret that we've been missing a certain thing this year steadiness: we struggled to understand where we could go fast and do well. Just look at our sensations between Hungary and Belgium. This lack of understanding is the point which we are focusing on for the weekend and the entire second part of the season. The positive side is that the car always offers excellent performance in qualifying, which allows you to fight for the podium. We must therefore concentrate on improving our performance in the race."

“Zandvoort? On paper it's a lead in our favor."
Ferrari will try to get back up, to do this we will need to get off to a good start already in Holland"I do not know. Looking at the layout I would say that pcould be one of the best for us, ma – Sainz admitted – I thought the same about Hungary, without forgetting all our opponents who are always very close to us. Coming in front or behind can mean a second, third place or seventh, eighth.".
