It wasn't an easy Friday for Daniel Ricciardo. The Australian driver, in fact, during the FP2 of the Dutch GP, he lost his car in turn 3 – conditioned by the accident caused by Oscar Piastri a few seconds earlier – hitting the wall. At the moment of contact, grid number #3 hit his wrist against the cockpit of his car, immediately suffering great pain.
Ricciardo, wrist pain: Lawson in his place?
Following an initial check-up carried out in the paddock medical centre, Ricciardo was transported to hospital for further checks. Not a very positive sign, especially considering how the rider seemed quite sore as soon as he got out of his bike Alpha Tauri. If - also because there is still no certainty - Ricciardo were to suffer a serious problem with his wrist and would not be available to continue his weekend on the track, the possible replacement should be the third Red Bull driver Lawson, not involved, at least for this weekend, with Super Formula and already present in the paddock this morning.

Waiting for confirmation
These are naturally only first rumors and doubts. However, one thing seems to be certain: Ricciardo's conditions need to be monitored and his weekend on the track seems to be in serious doubt.
