Red Bull hasn't won for two weekends in a row, since Spanish Grand Prix. A fast that we haven't seen since 2022, when a Silverstone and in Austria Ferrari took two victories in a row with Sainz and Leclerc. To resolve this moment of crisis, and respond to the growth of McLaren and Mercedes, Red Bull will bring further updates to Budapest, Hungary for the penultimate stage before the summer break.
Red Bull working to bring updates to Hungary
Compared to last season, Red Bull found itself having to fight with two teams that have seen very rapid growth. In fact, if the first races saw a supremacy of the Austrian team, from Miami onwards the situation began to deteriorate in step with the growth of McLaren and Mercedes. With the arrival of the developments, Red Bull lost its lead in both qualifying and the race where, however, he was able to count on some errors on the part of the McLaren pit wall which prevented the English team from taking more than one victory. At Silverstone Verstappen struggled more than usual. Initially he also paid for the comparison with Sainz's Ferrari. But the choice to use hard tires in the final stint allowed him to recover positions, even overtaking the best car on the grid, the McLaren, and finishing in second position.

According to what reported by The Telegraph after Silverstone, Red Bull is working to integrate the new features with other updates. In fact, the Dutch newspaper reports that "another significant package of fresh material" is scheduled for the Hungarian Grand Prix. In these last two races before the summer break, Red Bull wants to find victory again. But he will also have to deal with the Power Unit issue. In fact, a change before the summer break and therefore a consequent penalty for Verstappen, having reached the component limit, cannot be ruled out.
