The sun shines on the Albert Park track which hosts the FP3 of the Australian GPThe riders have another Free Practice session to work out the final details before lowering their visors and entering the qualification mode. Between flags and problems, here's what happened.
Red flag at the start
When the traffic light turns green, the first to touch the asphalt is Oliver BearmanThe Haas driver needs to recover the kilometres lost yesterday due to the accident that occurred in Free Trials 1. A minute after entering the track however, the Englishman ends up in gravel causing the first one to be exposed Red flag.

The first to set a noteworthy time is Max Verstappen, who crosses the finish line in 1:17.632The four-time World Champion further improves his time, while Hamilton it places third with the time of the first attempt. Andrea Kimi Antonelli moves behind the Dutchman in the time table with 1:16.870.
Piastri's fastest time in FP3 at the Australian GP
Alex Albon dethrones Antonelli from second place after setting a great time on a hard tyre. Forced instead to watch the action on the track from the monitors in the Red Bull garage Liam Lawson.The New Zealand driver made an attempt, but was unable to complete the lap due to problems with his single-seater which forced him to return to the pits.

With 15 minutes to go, Verstappen leads the pack in 1:16.002 and a few thousandths of a second behind are Piastri and George Russell. The track improves and with it also the times. The home hero Oscar Piastri takes first place, but his opponents are ready to give him a hard time. The pilot McLaren remains in command, followed by Russell, Verstappen, Leclerc and Antonelli. Fourteen pilots enclosed in one second: some very interesting qualifications are expected.
