We were looking for answers which Liberty Media finally gave. Through an official press release, it was announced that Pirelli will remain the sole supplier of tires in Formula 1. The company with the long P continues to remain in the Circus and - by winning the FIA tender - is preparing to sign a contract until 2027, with renewal option until 2028.
Pirelli: here is the renewal, but now the work begins
Confirmed, therefore, i rumors of the paddock which gave Pirelli the clear favorite over Bridgestone - the other company that decided to sign up to the FIA tender -. With this result, for the team led by the head of the motorsport area Mario Island a long programming work will begin. Beyond to the introduction of the ATA, which will presumably happen as early as next year, Pirelli will insist to develop tires without the use of tyrewarmers.
