The rumors regarding a possible farewell on the part of Pirelli from F1 after 2027 are unfounded. So he comments Mario Isola, director of Pirelli Motorsport, a Motorsport.com, explaining how the hypotheses put forward in recent days are baseless:
"No, I don't think there is any truth to those rumors. I think someone said it because we have been in Formula 1 for a long time, since 2011, and as a sole supplier we certainly have the longest contract."

It's not for the moment “goodbye” between Pirelli and F1. The Italian house therefore he wants to stay in Formula 1 to thus prolong a long-standing relationship 14 years and destined to last at least 3 more, after winning the supplier contract until 2027 with renewal option until 2028.
“Formula 1 decided to have only one tire supplier in 2008, therefore we are certainly the longest-lived as a single supplier. We are happy to be here, we continue to use Formula 1 in a positive way for the company in terms of branding and also technology."
“The interest from other manufacturers is positive, but that doesn't mean we want to finish in 2027. We will obviously evaluate at a later stage", concluded Isola.

With a newly renewed contract, Pirelli's question marks to date are few. However, the choice inevitably also comes in the hands of Liberty Media which will certainly affect how much longer this combination will last.
“Every year there is a new challenge, so we are not tired of remaining in Formula 1. I understand that it's a long time and I understand that there are other tire manufacturers who want to come in, and I accept that because it means that Formula 1 is a successful sport."
After recent interest from Bridgestone of wanting to return to Formula 1 may not be a long story for a long time, but on the production of tires the Circus seems to be leaning towards Pirelli.
