As soon as the Monza GP 2024 Qualifying, Lando Norris is the poleman followed by his teammate Oscar piastriThe two McLarens today proved they are still there, an imperfect one-lap for the Australian number 81 which still guarantees him the front row in a papaya-coloured one-two.
Piastri, happy for the front row, but he was hoping for pole in the Monza qualifying
On the temple of speed Oscar piastri covers every inch of the track exploiting the potential of its McLaren. He searches for the limit by competing for the starting pole with Lando Norris. Nothing to be done, however, the companion leaves no margin for error. Here are his words to the question: «How was your tour?»

"The first lap in Q3 was pretty good, the second lap wasn't good enough. I think I've said it too many times this year, but in the end it was a good performance. Great team effort and the grid is very compact this time. There were no guarantees, but it was really incredible."
"Starting further ahead than last week, for Piastri, has a positive aspect, clearly the road is long. Starting second here is not always bad, we will see how the tyres behave. Tomorrow we will see, for now the feedback is different from what we have had so far in Monza, in the past years." he then added speaking of the great work of the team to do tomorrow in the race.
Maintaining a double is always a difficult task, especially if the times of the leaders are very close.
“It could be a very exciting race tomorrow, seeing the times so close together,” he added at the end.
