The first time of Oliver Bearman, driver of the Ferrari Driver Academy and currently in F2, on the Ferrari single-seater. He replaces Carlos Sainz, who was hospitalized and underwent emergency surgery for appendicitis. No problem for the Madrilenian, but the rest allows the very young Bearman to make his debut in Formula 1 first in free practice 3 and then in qualifying. Tomorrow he will also be in the Saudi Arabian GP race.
Bearman's words after qualifying for the GP in Saudi Arabia, no Q3 for a few tenths

Despite his young age and lack of experience, especially if we think about the fact that he only drove in an F1 car with Haas last year and FP3 this morning.
Great results, therefore, for the young Englishman. To the microphones of Mara Sangiorgio, when asked if he can be satisfied Bearman he replies: «I think so. This morning I was preparing for F2 and instead tomorrow I will do a Formula 1 race. Overall I am happy."
He defines the qualifying session as a bit confusing and for this reason he didn't have access to Q3. In fact, due to small errors on the safety lap, he did not get those few tenths that would have guaranteed him the last qualifying session.
His race goal? The points, of course. «I want to try to score points» he states speaking to Mara, and then continues «I haven't done many laps, but I want to improve and try to get the Top 10». Thus the young English driver concludes.
Everyone tune in to Sky Sports F1 e Now TV at 18pm to watch Bearman's debut race in Jeddah. Will it be the next revelation?
