The bomb arrives from Germany: Andrian Newey in negotiations with Ferrari. The Scuderia di Maranello, following the grand chaos present in Red Bull, tries to wrest its genius par excellence from the Austrian team. To increase the possible rumors of a serious negotiation initiated between the parties is the BILD who writes: “The negotiation between the design champion Newey (his cars have won a total of 25 world titles) and the Ferrari seems to be in good shape. With this step Newey would fulfill two wishes. He has repeatedly said that he would like to work with Lewis Hamilton (39) and Ferrari again before retiring… ”.

Ferrari's willingness, considering Hamilton's arrival in 2025, is undoubtedly to try to win again as soon as possible. President Elkann some time ago he said that one of the Scuderia's objectives should be to try to return to success by 2026. Obviously, if the negotiation that sees a possible Newey's arrival at Ferrari should it end in a positive sense, it seems clear that the Briton would focus mainly on work in view of 2026, a period in which there will also be a change in regulations regarding the power unit.
Waiting for new developments
Newey has several offers on the table (also Aston through Aramco thought about it) and think. Ferrari could really be his next destination, before ending a career full of successes. The Briton, in fact, is the creator, among other cars, of the single-seater that dominated in 2023, the RB19 and of its heir, the revolutionary RB20, a car that is guaranteeing Verstappen - who is also leaving the team only if verified Marko's farewell – to dominate this very first part of the championship. The possibility, therefore, of a possible negotiation between Newey in Ferrari exists, at least according to what was reported by Bild. Now all that remains is to wait for new developments to understand if in the end the Briton, surprising everyone, will decide to embrace the Red team's project.
