Mick Schumacher no longer in Mercedes: here are his words
In the statements he issued, the 25-year-old thanks the entire team and in particular Toto wolff, team principal of the team. He has learned a lot in these years, but according to him the time has come to get back to running: “I am really grateful to both Toto and the whole Mercedes team. I have learned so much in these two years here. I am definitely a much more experienced driver now. Being on this side of the garage I have learned things that you cannot fully understand from the car, such as the work of the engineers. But of course, watching the cars go by and not being able to be in them permanently is tough. I want to get back to focusing 100% on racing. Just getting on board the cars can unleash the passion that flows through the veins of us drivers.".

Wolff also speaks: "His work is vital for the team"
Mick Schumacher's farewell from Mercedes was also discussed Toto wolff, who spoke about the work done by theformer Haas driver. This has been defined of vital importance for the team: "IThe hard work, diligence and determination shown by Mick [Schumacher] in these two years as reserve driver have been vital to the team.. From his work in the simulator to testing various cars, to being part of the team's on-track work. We couldn't ask for more from him.. Since he set foot in the factory he has been cooperative with the team and has quickly become a respected and appreciated colleague both in Brackley and Brixworth”.
