Red Bull, the golden moment continues at Silverstone
Qualifying
- Red Bull took first place in qualifying at Silverstone for the first time since 2011 with Mark Webber. Verstappen also scored pole in 2021, but at the end of the sprint qualifying.
- Verstappen's fifth consecutive pole is the longest streak of his career. Previous record of 4 pole starts in a row (France, Austria, Styria and Great Britain 2021) beaten.
- Perez's 16th place is his fifth elimination in Q1 or Q2 in a row. Never this bad for a Red Bull driver since 2007 (David Coulthard).
Race
- Red Bull equaled McLaren (1988) in first place for most consecutive victories, 11 since Abu Dhabi 2022.

- Verstappen became the fifth driver in history to win 6 races in a row, after Ascari, Schumacher, Vettel and Rosberg. The Kaiser is the only one to have succeeded twice.
- Verstappen finished his 29th consecutive race: equaling Ricciardo (Italy 2015-Abu Dhabi 2016) in first place for a Red Bull driver.
- Verstappen's 11th consecutive podium places him in fourth place all time, behind only Alonso (15, from Turkey 2005 to Canada 2006), Hamilton (16, from Italy 2014 to Great Britain 2015) and Schumacher (19, from United States 2001 to Japan 2002).
- Verstappen's eighth hat-trick (victory, pole and fastest lap) of his career takes him to fifth place all-time, tied with Prost and Vettel. In front, there are Fangio (9), Clark (11), Hamilton (19) and Schumacher (22).
McLaren, Silverstone never so successful in the hybrid era
Qualifying
- Norris started from the front row for the third time in his career, following Austria (P2) and Russia (P1) 2021.
- McLaren returns to the front row at Silverstone for the first time since 2008, when Heikki Kovalainen set pole.
- With Piastri third, both McLarens start from the top 3 for the first time since Monza 2021 (the Woking team's last victory).
Race

- McLaren took its first podium in Britain since 2010, when Hamilton finished second.
- After Red Bull, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Mercedes and Alpine, McLaren is the sixth team to achieve a podium in 2023: more than half the grid has finished in the top 3 at least once. The record in a season with 10 teams belongs to 1997 , when all the teams except Tyrrell finished on the podium at least once.
- Norris was named driver of the day with a whopping 45% of the votes, the highest percentage since the Bahrain GP, when Alonso got 53% of the votes.
- Before the Austrian GP (in which Norris finished fourth) and Silverstone (with Norris second and Piastri fourth), McLaren had not completed a single top-five lap.
- McLaren scored more points at Silverstone (30) than in the rest of the season (29).
Mercedes, Saturday and Sunday at the antipodes at Silverstone
Qualifying
- Hamilton, seventh in qualifying, achieved his worst grid position at Silverstone since 2012 (when he qualified eighth).
Race
- Hamilton's third place extends his record of podiums at Silverstone to 14. Never had a driver achieved so many at a single circuit since... Hamilton at Silverstone before Sunday (13).
- Hamilton's podium is also the 11th in a row at Silverstone: in the hybrid era, the Englishman has never stepped off the podium at home.
- For the first time since 1999, two British drivers finished on the podium at their home grand prix. Then it was Coulthard and Irvine, on Sunday it was Norris and Hamilton.

Ferrari, Silverstone to forget
Race
- Leclerc's ninth place is his worst result at Silverstone since he joined Ferrari: since 2019 he had always finished in the top 4.
- Ferrari had not finished ninth or tenth in the race since Abu Dhabi 2014 (Alonso P9, Raikkonen P10).
Williams, never so good in years at Silverstone
Qualifying
- Albon's P8 extends Williams' consecutive Q3 streak to 3, for the first time since Felipe Massa in 2016-17.
Race
- Albon's eighth place is Williams' best finish at Silverstone since 2015, when Massa and Bottas finished fourth and fifth respectively.

- For the first time since 2021, a Williams beat both Ferraris. The precedent was Russell at Spa, when he achieved his first podium, with the Ferraris of Leclerc and Sainz eighth and tenth respectively.
Aston Martin, step back
Qualifying
- Alonso's P9 is his worst starting position of 2023.
- With his 13th place, Stroll missed out on Q3 at Silverstone for the third year in a row and closed his streak of 3 qualifyings ahead of Alonso.
Alfa Romeo, Silverstone still in the slums
Qualifying
- Bottas (P15) experienced his worst qualifying at Silverstone since 2013 (P16).

Alpha Tauri, the moment continues no
Qualifying
- AlphaTauri sees both cars out in Q1 for the third consecutive race.
Haas, no weekend for K-Mag
Qualifying
- Magnussen missed the Q1 cut at Silverstone for the fifth time in a row.
