"There is a strong possibility that I could leave the team, resigning, starting from the next race”. These are the words, strong, indeed, very strong, pronounced by Helmut Marko during qualifying for the Saudi Arabian GP. The Red Bull advisor, therefore, exclusively at ORF, opened up to the concrete possibility of hand in your resignation following the different 'factions' that were created within the team, with Marko against the figure of Horner as team principal.
Red Bull, Marko could opt to resign
After what happened over the past few weeks, with the 'Horner case' which has caused quite a bit of discussion, the situation at Red Bull is far from serene. Horner remains in his place, having been declared innocent and explaining that he is not there no desire to leave the team. To take a step back, despite the bad mood shown by Jos Verstappen (and, hypothetically, by the same son) towards Horner, it could be Helmut Marko. The Austrian explained and talked about the great possibility that Saudi Arabia could seriously represent his last weekend in the role of advisor. In the event of Marko's farewell from Red Bull, it is right to specify that it would be a resignation and not a dismissal by the team, as the 80-year-old himself had recently renewed his contract.

An increasingly thorny situation
With this hypothetical Marko's farewell, who may already not be present in Australia in two weeks, the situation at Red Bull seems to be quite clear. Although discontent continues to exist, Horner is undoubtedly the one who emerges even stronger and remains more than steadfast in his role as team principal. The situation will certainly have new updates on the matter, but everything leads us to think that it was the part managed by the British that 'triumphed' (if we can say so), considering theupon suspension of the employee, the non-presence of Jos Verstappen in Arabia (which is not entirely a coincidence) and, now, also the possible resignation of Helmut Marko.
