Disappointing result for Ferrari that in the qualifying for the Spanish GP does not go beyond fifth position with Leclerc and the sixth with Sainz. Not a positive performance by the Reds, who find themselves behind both the two Mercedes, Verstappen's Red Bull and, obviously being the poleman, Lando Norris's McLaren. The wait, now, is obviously on the race. Ferrari demonstrated that it has a good pace, even if the result of these qualifications, as also explained by Leclerc on Sky Sport F1, must give pause for thought, considering that the Red team seemed unable to obtain a better result. “I'm not that interested in thousandths. When we can do better we must always do it. 3 tenths behind pole isn't nice. But unfortunately We didn't have any more“, admitted Leclerc.

Leclerc after qualifying for the Spanish GP: "We can fight with Mercedes"
“Starting the weekend with the old package wasn't easy. On this track you can always do better: when you win in the first sector you lose in the third and vice versa. Today is not a good day, we didn't have any more." Finally, on tomorrow's goals and the possibility of be able to fight for the podium: “Without talking about the rain, if we are in normal conditions I think third place is in the balance while first and second I see as tough because the pace wasn't optimal. I think we will fight with Mercedes tomorrow".
