After such and such a Friday, the seventh place in the Sprint of Charles has rekindled some hope. In the qualifying session of the Austrian GP Leclerc he achieved the sixth fastest time.

Un weekend didn't start in the best way for the Monegasque. Charles Leclerc has in fact found some problems to his SF-24 in SQ3 of the Sprint qualifying of the Austrian GP. The pilot of the Ferrari è remained stationary a few seconds in pit lane, to then go out and take the checkered flag on the out lap. “The anti-stall went off and everything shut down”, declared Leclerc in the interviews of Friday.
So issue #16 has started from the tenth box of the grid in the Sprint, but thanks to agreat start he managed to parade the two Alpine-branded single-seaters. Charles overtakes Perez and crosses the finish line seventh position.

On this action-packed Saturday on the track there is also the qualification which will determine the starting grid of the race. In the second attempt of the Q3, Leclerc manages to catch up with Verstappen, but goes off track at turn 9. Tomorrow he will start from sixth position.
“It's a shame because the first run was good”
In the post-qualifying interviews of the Austrian GP of sky sports f1, Leclerc said of the latest attempt: “It doesn't always pay off, he didn't pay today. I took turns 1 and 3 and I was very happy because I was two tenths faster than the lap before. At Turn 4 I went to brake a few meters later to try and find some time but unfortunately I blocked the front and went straight on. At 6 I hoped it would hold but I went into the gravel and then from 7 I kept pushing, I knew it would be difficult".
The Monegasque continued by saying: “It's an It's a shame because on the tire used in Q3 the first run was good. The feeling was good and the team did a good job. Today in Q3 I made a mistake and I'm sorry because the last few races have been difficult”. He then concludes by admitting that he would have preferred to have achieved a better result: “I would have preferred to have had a better result, but with best result I mean third place maybe".
