Charles Leclerc's Friday was certainly not one to be immortalized. The pilot of the Ferrari, in fact, after a good first free practice session - in which he achieved fifth position - was unable to take to the track in FP2, following a electrical problem on his car.
The problem I had yesterday
Not good news for the Monegasque did not have the opportunity to try the updates brought by Ferrari for this weekend. In FP1in fact, they had only been mounted on Sainz's single-seater. Leclerc was therefore unable to verify his feeling with the car, especially on the subject of race pace. Despite this, it was very important for the technicians to immediately identify the problem which, in view of FP3, has been largely resolved.

All resolved, no penalties for Leclerc
Based on what filters through from the paddock, it seems that Ferrari have managed to resolve the problem encountered on Friday afternoon. As confirmed yesterday evening by Giuliano Duchess, Leclerc will not face any penalties for this weekend. Now Charles' only hope is the weather, with FP3 which - in the event of no rain - would allow the Ferrari driver to make up for the work lost in yesterday's session. However, if the rain were to arrive, on Sunday everything will be in Leclerc's hands, called once again to show all his enormous talent.
