It was a literally dominated race. In Hungary, despite not having achieved pole, Max still wins Verstappen. Sumptuous performance, right from the start, from the two-time world champion - the undisputed king of this season. Bad instead la Ferrari only seventh with Leclerc and eighth with Sainz. Let's discover together the report cards of the top ten of the Hungarian GP.
Hungarian GP, the report cards: the podium
Max Verstappen
Little to say, or rather: nothing to say. He failed to achieve pole position in qualifying, but since Friday he had shown that he had much more in terms of race pace, without forgetting the stratospheric fast lap he brought home. Vote 10.
Lando Norris
He's getting a taste for it now. After what he did at Silverstone, he hits the podium again, demonstrating that he really needed a car to be able to make it clear that he, together with the others, can do it and do it well. Vote 10.
Sergio Perez
It was essential for the Mexican to get back on the podium. The start of the weekend, with the mistake made in Friday's free practice, didn't bode well for him, but - as in every race - the power of the car made itself felt. Rating 8.5.
Off the podium
Lewis Hamilton
He pays the price for the mistake he made at the start. To defend herself from Max, she lost her position on both Norris and Piastri (which she later recovered at the end of the race). The pole achieved yesterday was exciting, but it's also true that the points are scored on Sunday. Rating 7.

Oscar piastri
He pays for the team's choice to pit by having him come out behind Norris. He lost a lot in the final part, in an almost inexplicable way, but in two races - in which he had the real MCL60 - he always put it in the top five. Rating 8.
George Russell
Mercedes, once again, proved to be very strong in the race. After a very difficult Saturday, the Englishman achieved a sixth place which shows the strength of the W-14. Having started eighteenth, he completed an incredible comeback. Rating 8.5.

Charles Leclerc
He's certainly not lucky - and the mistake in the pits confirms it - but this time he made a mistake too. The five second penalty cost him sixth place, with an SF-23 that absolutely failed to take off. Rating 5.
Carlos Sainz
He did his thing. He started eleventh and had a very good start when the traffic lights went out. Despite the three-place comeback, eighth place cannot be considered a good result, but at least he didn't make any mistakes. Rating 6.

Fernando Alonso
AAA-Aston Martin wanted. The British team seems to have lost the path it took at the start of the season. The top ten, when your name is Alonso, always comes - but these are not the objectives. Rating 5.5.
Lance stroll
He continues to show great difficulty, especially in qualifying. Today, however, he managed to reach the top ten, taking home a point that perfectly represents the complicated moment in Aston Martin. Rating 6.
